Article Retrieve Link

Use the Article Retrieve link to provide a link to an article available from ProQuest Direct. An article can be available in up to five formats.

Capturing a Link

1. Start ProQuest Direct.
2. Use Search by Word or Search for Publication to run a search.
3. Display an article, in an available format, from the Search Results or Issue Contents.
4. Capture the link.
5. Insert the link into selected text or an image on your site. When visitors to your site click the link, the article will display.

Modifying a Link

After you capture a link, you can modify it. You can either use the Link Editor tool or modify the link by hand.

Using the Link Editor

The Link Editor has two sections:

bullet.gif (826 bytes) General Information contains account information and access control fields. These fields are present in the Link Editor for all of the ProQuest Direct links.
bullet.gif (826 bytes) Article Information contains link-specific information. The fields in this section vary for each ProQuest Direct link.

Manually Editing a Link

As an alternative to using the Link Editor, you can edit the link by hand.
